While painting makes up the bulk of what I do, it's oddly the thing I am most uncomfortable talking about. Painting you see, is for me a very personal and ultimately selfish act. The hours I spend at my easel seem to fall away as I immerse myself in the sights and moods of a day afield. Most of my original oil paintings are small and would fall under the category of miniatures. This serves two purposes: It allows me to work comfortably in a size that suits my style, while keeping my prices within reach of most collectors. Ultimately, the fact that there are those who see value in my personal expressions is something I am very thankful for, and I'm proud to have a number of my originals hanging in the collections of sportsmen and corporations across North America. |
